Antoine Carbonne collaborated with Manufacture de Longwy, 1789 to create the 'Lotus Bleu' collection, including a jar, a vase, and a candle pot.

The Styx vase, is a simple, yet elegant shape. Made of ceramic it is coated with glossy enamel, which creates a smooth and reflective texture. The design on the vase is a nod to Japanese ancestral vases, it features water coming to life like a fixed splash on the white ceramic. 

The Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy specialised in enamel since 1789, in their atelier, the craftsman create the shape and vase before they translate the paintbrush strokes of Antoine Carbonne into this glossy texture.
