Artist and illustrator, Victor Cadène reinterpreted the toile de Jouy, we discover three scenes from an original drawing. Like an ode to laziness, idleness under his brush his silhouettes are adorned with patterns and colors, in reference to orientalist painting: such Ingres or Matisse. Maison Thévenon, which since 1908 has been dressing furniture and walls with inspired textiles, takes over the artist's drawings / collages, printed, they sublimate the woven fabrics. Tablecloths, napkins and wall fabrics, the imagination of Victor Cadène is combined with the know-how of Maison Thevenon.
