Maison Pelletier Ferruel
Founded in 2019 by artist Aurélie Ferruel and glassmaker Stéphane Pelletier, Maison Pelletier Ferruel is more than just a home—it's a hub of artistic creation. Nestled within their residence, the duo envisions and crafts unique glass pieces, each a testament to their unwavering passion.
Their journey unfolds in the attached workshop, where decorative glass objects come to life through a meticulous process of design, sculpting, blowing, and casting. For Aurélie and Stéphane, their house and workshop serve as a seamless canvas, where the creative cycle flows from conception to living alongside their creations, only to be reborn in the fiery embrace of the glass.
Their creations draw inspiration from the rich tapestry of glass history, the cultural tapestries of popular and decorative arts, and a steadfast commitment to the art of glass blowing, moulding, cutting, and glass paste techniques. The result is a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, where figurative elements serve as conduits for explorations in pattern and texture.
Each object born from their collaboration is a unique entity, representing a vibrant and expressive family of creations.
Following a successful solo exhibition in Le Havre in 2021, Maison Pelletier Ferruel's work has garnered international recognition, with showcases alongside French Cliché in Milan and Paris. Their artistic journey recently led them to the prestigious Villa Empain in Brussels, Belgium, where they were invited to participate in a group exhibition curated by Anne-Laure Lestage.
Maison Pelletier Ferruel stands as a testament to the boundless creativity that emerges from the fusion of art, home, and relentless dedication to the craft of glasswork.
